Web Design & Development
We design and build business websites on a fixed scope and a fixed price, starting from $2,500 including GST. Most projects run four to eight weeks from brief to launch, and you own the site and its content outright when it is finished.
Fixed scope, fixed price. Larger builds with e-commerce or custom functionality are quoted individually.
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.What web design actually involves
A website build covers the design, the build, the content structure and the launch. We work to a fixed scope agreed up front, so the price does not move unless you ask for something outside it. Sites are built to be fast, to work properly on phones, and to be editable by you afterwards without needing us.
What's included
- Discovery and scope
- We agree what the site needs to do, who it is for, and what pages exist — before any design work starts. This is what makes a fixed price possible.
- Design
- Layouts designed for your business, not a stock template with your logo dropped in. You see and approve designs before we build.
- Build
- Hand-built, fast-loading pages. Mobile-first, because most local search traffic is on a phone.
- Content structure
- We structure your existing content for the web. Copywriting from scratch is quoted separately.
- Search foundations
- Titles, descriptions, headings, structured data and a sitemap set up correctly at launch. This is groundwork, not an SEO campaign.
- Launch and handover
- We deploy it, check it, and show you how to edit it. You get the accounts and the code.
How it works
-
Brief
A conversation about what the business does and what the site has to achieve. No charge.
-
Scope and quote
A written scope with a fixed price. If you do not proceed, you keep the scope document.
-
Design
Key page designs for your approval. Revisions are included at this stage — changing a design is cheap, changing a built site is not.
-
Build
We build the approved design and load your content.
-
Review
You review the site on a private link and we work through your list.
-
Launch
We deploy, verify, and hand over access.
Is this right for you?
A good fit when
- You need a site that generates enquiries, not just an online brochure.
- You want a fixed price agreed before work starts.
- You want to own and edit the result yourself.
Probably not when
- You need a complex web application rather than a business website.
- You want the cheapest possible option — a template site will always be cheaper.
- The scope genuinely cannot be defined yet. In that case start with a paid discovery.
Common questions
01 How much does a website cost in Australia?
Our builds start at $2,500 including GST for a straightforward business site with a defined scope. E-commerce and custom functionality cost more and are quoted individually. Across the Australian market you will see anything from a few hundred dollars for a DIY template to six figures for enterprise work — the range is wide because "website" describes very different things.
02 How long does a website take to build?
Most of our projects run four to eight weeks from approved scope to launch. The single biggest cause of delay is content — if your text and photos are ready, the build moves quickly.
03 Do I own the website?
Yes. You own the design, the code and the content, and you hold the domain and hosting accounts in your own name. We do not hold your site hostage as a retention strategy.
04 Can I edit the website myself?
Yes. We hand over access and show you how. If you would rather not, ongoing changes can be handled as needed.
05 Do you build e-commerce sites?
Yes. Online stores involve payments, shipping rules, inventory and tax handling, so they are scoped and priced individually rather than from a starting price.
